Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is’s Home Exercise Program?

Our Home Exercise Program is is a program of detailed mobility, stability, and strengthening activities designed to restore the faulty movment patterns commonly associated with the pain-producing diagnoses of stress reactions at the pars interarticularis, spondylolysis, and spondylolisthesis.

The Home Exercise Program is more than just an e-book that provides education about these conditions. It also provides a safe and simple exercise guide in an easy-to-follow format. This program was created by a licensed physical therapist and a certified strength and conditioning coach who suffers from the same condition.

How does the program work?

Just to be clear, the Home Exercise Program is not a magical pill or machine that you hook up too and “KAZAAM”, your pain is gone! Our program is a 30-page e-book with an additional exercise program detailing over 60 specific exercises delivered right to your e-mail inbox. The e-book is loaded with information to help you understand you condition while the exercise program shows you what you can do to begin moving more properly to help reduce your pain.

Our exercises are not the same old boring exercises you have already performed in an attempt to correct your issue –’s Home Exercise Program is slightly different. We have found excellent success helping those who have suffered from the physical limitations associated with spondylolysis / spondylolisthesis by taking a full body approach to help you achieve better movement.

This program helps people understand how the body really works along with an easy to follow 11-week at-home exercise plan to help you to move more freely, with less pain, and better strength. This program is designed to be effective when used on its own (after appropriate medical diagnosis) or as a companion guide as you pursue rehabilitation with a licensed professional. And the best part is it can all be done in the comfort of your home, on your time, with little equipment.

Is the Home Exercise Program appropriate for me?

Our program is designed and made for indivuduals who have been diagnosed with and suffer from a Grade 1 or 2 spondylolisthesis or spondylolysis. Whether you are a young growing teenage athlete or a middle-aged weekend warrior, this program can show you the right way to get relief from this frustrating condition.

This program is not for those who think a snap of the fingers is going to cure their pain. It takes consistent effort to help correct the improper movement that has led to your issue. Your improvement will come from your consistent performance of exercises designed to improve your movement and strengthen the areas which are weak. All of the exercises and movements can be performed at home with a few simple pieces of equipment. No weights, gyms, or health clubs are needed.

The Home Exercise Program does not diagnose your issue. If you have suspicion of having a spondylolysis / spondylolisthesis, we highly recommend you see your physician to get a diagnosis.

Is the Home Exercise Program Physical Therapy?

This program is not a substitute for physical therapy. However, the program can work as a compliment to your current therapy program, but is strictly an exercise program that is designed to improve your overall movement. The Home Exercise program was not designed to be a physical therapy program.

There is no substitute for physical therapy and we encourage you to seek your doctor’s advice and guidance when it comes to physical therapy.

Who should not use this program?’s Home Exercise Program may not be appropriate for anyone experiencing a new ocurrence of back pain or leg pain who has not yet been evaluated by a medical professional.

Please keep in mind, this program does not attempt to make a medical diagnosis. There is no substitute for a proper physical examination and discussion of your pain history with a physician or other rehabilitation professional!

What if I’m already in a rehabilitation/physical therapy program?

Great start!

Follow your medical professional’s direction, and when you give this program a try show it to your physician, physical therapist, or other rehabilitation professional. Don’t assume they have the best solution for getting you to your goals!

Why? There is next to nothing in the research literature to help guide treatment for spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis, so too often rehabilitation programs fall short of returning patients to their goals.’s Home Exercise Program costs less than a typical visit to a physical therapist or chiropractor….isn’t it worth your time, money, and sense of well-being to make sure your rehabilitation professional has all the tools necessary to reach your goals?

How is this program different from the rehabilitation programs I have tried before?

Our program is not more of the same exercises you have attempted before that ultimately failed.’s Home Exercise Program involves much more than just hamstring stretches or core strengthening using traditional methods. Our program is based on correcting faulty movement and it gives you the tools to restore your body’s optimal movement patterns. That means moving more freely, more effieciently, and without pain!

Does this program fix a fracture of the vertebra or correct the slippage of the vertebra?

No. Our program is intended to provide a balanced system of mobility, stability, and strengthening exercises to improve movement patterns. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent an orthopedic pathology or disease. We feel that a proper balance of mobility and stability allows the body to produce movement that will be beneficial, but individual results may vary.

How soon will I feel the benefit?

Everyone is different. Not everyone will feel the exact same benefits at the same time. Our program is 11 weeks long with progressive exercises along the way. Several factors along this path will determine how long it takes you to feel better. Some people feel better within a few weeks, others take a while longer. To see the best results, your committed and consistent performance of this program is necessary.

What if I just have back pain, can I still use the program?

Of course! We have used these same stretches and exercises with clients and athletes who suffer from a variety of conditions creating back and hip discomfort. Even though our program is safe, we highly recommend that you get your physician’s opinion before starting any new exercise program.

What is the return policy?

Our return policy is simple. Try our program and if you are not satisfied with what you have learned or how you are feeling, simply contact us within 90 days of purchase by e-mailing us at We will then happily refund your purchase.

Below is a link to an online provider of exercise equipment. They have competitive pricing and fast shipping. We have listed the product numbers next to the product name to make your order as easy as possible. You can call or visit their website for more information.

A. Foam Roller = 3 ‘ long, 6″ round. SKU # = 2066P

B. Exercise Band

1. Thera-Band = Medium. SKU # = 6667MP
2. * Gray Cook Band = Medium. SKU # = 7747P

C. **Mini Band = Medium. SKU # = 6541P

* We highly recommend the Gray Cook Band for durability, safety, and ease of use. However, it is more expensive than the Thera-Band, and we wanted to provide a cost-effecient alternative. The Thera-Band will do the trick and is what we used for the pictures in the program.

** We highly recommend the Mini Band for ease of use. However, if the Thera-Band is purchased in a six-yard box (recommended for greatest cost-efficiency) instead of the Gray Cook Band, then there will be enough material in the Thera-Band box to cut a three-foot length to tie around the thighs just above the knee in place of using a Mini Band.

Feel free to shop around and look for these products from other providers. We are not responsible for any product purchased.
