Spondylolisthesis Tip: An Easy Way To Avoid Sitting For Long Periods Of Time

spondylolisthesis Sitting

Sitting for excessive amounts of time day after day has been shown to be a cause of many health problems.

For those who have a spondylolisthesis or spondylolysis, excessive sitting can be very problematic. For one it can lead to tightness, movement related issues, and possibly more pain and discomfort.

But what can someone who has a spondylolisthesis or spondyloysis do if they have a job where they have no option but to sit?

Lately I have been spending more and more time behind the computer and I have found a quick and easy way to make sure I do not pile up hour after hour of not moving.

The big key for me is to break up the time that I spend sitting and adding a simple 1-2 minutes of standing or moving around every 20 minutes. I feel this has significantly helped how I feel.

But remembering how often to get up is often the hard part.

I recently started adding this simple little website tool to my daily routine that has eliminated the guesswork of when to get up.

Check out the video below to see just how I use this tool to help fight the negative effects of long continuous hours behind the desk.

Below is the link to the website that I discussed above in the video. I hope you will give it a try and more importantly…..I hope it helps you and your spondy!
