Below is a little information about the creators of spondyinfo.com….

“As someone who also suffers from a ‘spondy’ I can tell you that I understand your frustration.  At the age of 16, I was diagnosed with a ‘spondy’ and immediately had numerous questions and concerns.  I was given the run-around by many doctors and therapists, and didn’t find anything to help me until I decided to enter the field of exercise science and to study the body for myself”.

“Until I found the right exercises, stretches and movements in combination with what to avoid, I suffered monthly episodes of pain related to my ‘spondy.’  Over the years I have learned what has worked and what hasn’t.  I have been able to control my pain with education and proper exercise.  I now use that knowledge to help others with this condition and many others”

Justin Adkins - Co-founder of spondyinfo.com

Justin has been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning coach.  He has also been certified by USA Weightlifting and the Functional Movement Screen.  He has trained and helped countless athletes from the youth to the professional level achieve their performance goals and return from various injuries.

More importantly, like the tens of thousands of people each year, Justin was also diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis as a teenager.  He has experienced the frustration of visiting numerous doctors and therapy clinics before learning the most effective methods to improve movement and prevent symptoms associated with this condition.  Through education, identifying movement dysfunctions, teaching proper training progressions, and teaching the body proper movement patterns, Justin has helped numerous athletes and everyday individuals recover and return to sport or healthy lives.

“Educating, informing and teaching clients proper movements are all essentials for successful rehabilitations. We strive to include all of these areas in our clinic and on this website to help people move and feel better …”
